Treeface Cafe sits just by the Yarrow Valley car park, making it a convenient stop for anyone spending time at the nearby park or heading out for a casual stroll. It’s a modestly sized spot with around 10 tables inside and a handful outside, catering well to families and locals looking for an easy, no-fuss coffee or light meal. The outdoor seating helps especially on warmer days, offering a chance to relax while watching the park activity.

The vibe here is very much down-to-earth and practical, with friendly staff who move quickly through the queue even during busier moments. The menu feels deliberately straightforward, focused mainly on simple breakfasts, sandwiches, and baked goods. Popular choices include the bacon, brie and cranberry panini or a classic breakfast omelette, while the scones and quiches provide a more traditionally British cafe touch—though some visitors have found the baked items a bit hit or miss on freshness.

Treeface Cafe works well for families and groups who want a casual lunch before or after park time. The prices remain reasonable, and there’s enough variety to please different palates without overwhelming indecision. Given its location, the cafe tends to see a mix of regulars from nearby neighborhoods and folks just passing through, especially on weekends or sunny afternoons when the outdoor spots fill up.

Though it’s not a place for a long, leisurely meal or specialty coffee lovers hoping for artisan brews, it delivers solid basics with a friendly, local feel. The staff’s willingness to accommodate dietary needs, such as gluten-free requests, adds to the easygoing atmosphere. Facilities like nearby toilets and baby changing make it family-friendly, too.

Overall, Treeface Cafe fits neatly into the routine of park visitors and locals seeking a modest, efficient stop for an everyday coffee or bite to eat without fuss. It’s best visited during park opening hours when you can grab a seat outside and enjoy the fresh air alongside straightforward, affordable food.

This place is OK! I would visit again when visiting the park. But won’t rave about it to anyone I know. The coffee was quite nice but could have been served in a bigger cup! However I also had a scone and this tasted ‘on the turn to’ stale! The prices are very reasonable (which is why I hate the scone and said nothing) the couple of staff I saw were both very friendly! Sitting inside I got a waiting room vibe due to the colouring of the walls. Maybe something hung on the walls would lift the place!

Nice little cafe by the Yarrow Valley carpark. There's about 10 tables inside and 4 outside. Toilet and baby changing around the outside of the building. The staff were nice this morning and dealt with the que quickly and efficiently. There's is a limited menu and was only the choice of baps and sandwiches the day we went, but what we had was lovely. There was an ice cream Parlour at the back of the cafe but weather was to cold to check it out I would definatly go again if I was in the area

Just came back from taking my family lunch here. A really lovely park caff near in the Yarrow Bridge Park near Chorley. Excellent value c.£40 for 3 adults and a kid to eat and drink and lots of ice cream flavours including S’mores! As I am the world’s most awkward customer diet wise the kitchen was super keen to make me something off the menu in the absence of any GF options. The food was at the table within a couple of minutes of our derrières hitting the cherrieres!

Can’t write a proper review as we arrived there 10min before closing time. But still we were served and the coffee and muffin were nice.
